Witches Den - Beyond Extent Team Challenge

Hey everyone!

Over the last few weeks, i took part in the Team Challenge hosted by Beyond Extent. The theme this time was Witches’ Den, and each team—five artists guided by a mentor—had five weeks to build an environment from scratch.

I had a genuinely great experience throughout the challenge, and I was fortunate to work with a group of proactive, dedicated, and hardworking artists. Hats off to my team—especially for pushing so hard during the final two weeks.

For this project, I was responsible for creating the main focal point of the scene: the wooden hut. My tasks also included developing a complex shader that supported RGBA masks, macro normals, macro AO, and detail normals. I also handled some set dressing for the environment, mainly around the hut and along the pathway leading to it.

Special thanks to the Beyond Extent team and the judges for making this possible, and congrats to every team for making these awsome environments!
